Everglades Airboat Adventure

Informative, fun and exciting, this half-day tour takes you deep into one of America's largest national parks, the Everglades. You'll experience one of the world's must see sights in an airboat. With a flat bottom and large, driving, airplane propeller at the stern, the airboat is able to glide over the surface of the shallow waters at speeds of up to 50 mph. Stretching out over 1.5 million acres, the Everglades is a World Heritage Site and International Biosphere Reserve protected to preserve the biological diversity of the Everglades ecosystems. Home to a unique mix of tropical and sub-tropical plants and animals, the park boasts over 700 plant types and 300 bird species. Nature lovers will thrill to the many photo opportunities. Following your airboat ride, you will have 30 minutes of free time before you board your motorcoach again for a narrated drive back to the ship.
