Learn city history and visit iconic sights as you hop on and off the open-air trolley. After boarding the trolley you'll make your way to Old Mazatlan where you'll hop off and follow your guide to the Cathedral Basilica of the Immaculate Conception, the world's only Roman Catholic Church with the Star of David displayed in each of its 28 stained-glass windows. From there, you'll embark on a short walk through the narrow cobblestone streets to see the colorful buildings and preserved colonial architecture before reboarding the trolley. Then, ride down the Malecón for views of the high-flying divers at Diver's Point and stop for photos at the Mazatlan letters. And you might want to take a selfie with the Shrimp Ladies who sell shrimp fresh off the boat on one of the town´s main street sidewalks. One last drive through Old Mazatlan´s narrow streets to Watchman´s Hill for views of El Faro lighthouse off in the distance.
Special Notes:
The trolley is not air conditioned. Expect uneven pavement in Old Mazatlan. Guests with limited mobility or those in wheelchairs should not select this tour. Guests must be able to board the vehicle with little to no help. Guests wishing to participate on this tour must complete a waiver form. This tour entails some walking (3 short blocks) Order of tour stops may vary due to logistic reasons. Wear hat, sunglasses, comfortable walking shoes and clothes.
