This full-day tour introduces you to the wild and wonderful region of the Camargue, home to numerous bird species, wild horses and special saltwater flora. You'll start with a scenic motorcoach ride through the countryside, en route to the Parc Ornithologique de Pont de Gau, a wetlands nature reserve that is home to thousands of birds, including the graceful flamingo. Your guide will tell you about the park and the various species of birds, insects and plants that live there. Next, it's a short and beautiful drive to the capital of the Camargue, Saintes Maries de la Mer. After a brief guided walking tour of this former fishing village, now a charming seaside resort town, you'll have time to explore independently, browse the shops and stop for lunch at a local café or restaurant before returning to your motorcoach for the relaxing drive back to the port in Marseille.
