Stop at the 19th century, Neo-Byzantine Notre-Dame de la Garde, an enormous Basilica that sits on a hill overlooking the city and boasts superb views of the Vieux Port, then pass by the impressive 19th century Longchamp Palace, which was built to celebrate the opening of the Marseille canal.
