Head towards the Luberon mountain range, one of the most beautiful natural sites in Provence, where you will be enthralled by the striking panoramas, picturesque hill-top villages and incredible rocky landscapes. Visit the Chateau de Lourmarin, an extravagant building that dates back to the 15th-century and boasts eye-catching Renaissance architecture. Entering the courtyard, which is used throughout the summer months for piano recitals and classical concerts, you will tour the Renaissance wing, which contains large chimneys decorated with Corinthian columns. At Roussillon, one of the prettiest villages of the Luberon massif, a traditional French lunch will be served with wine at a charming restaurant, and afterwards you will be able to browse the many craft shops and art galleries. Heading back to Marseille you will stop at a glorious viewpoint from which you can see Gordes, an uneven village built on a dramatic rocky crag.
Special Notes:
The tour includes walking over uneven paths and climbing stairs. Passengers with limited mobility should take this into consideration. Shopping is limited in villages outside of the main touristic season.Details
