Explore the famously picturesque region of southeastern France on this full-day adventure. Your motorcoach will whisk you first to the university and spa town of Aix-en-Provence, where you'll take a guided walking tour of the grand boulevards, fountains and 17th- and 18th-century architecture. In Old Town, you'll tour the stunning 12th-century Cathédrale Saint-Sauveur d'Aix. Enjoy free time to browse the nearby art galleries, boutiques and antique shops. You'll drive back towards Marseille along the Corniche President J.F. Kennedy, a scenic coastal road. Enjoy a well deserved Provencal lunch. Drive past the magnificent Cathédrale de la Major, an extravagant neo-Byzantine structure dating to the 19th century, and pause for photos at bustling Le Vieux Port. Your final stop is the Basilica Notre-Dame de la Garde, a neo-Byzantine church built on the foundation of a military fort, atop the highest point in Marseille. Return to port.
