Witness Ecuador's boundless topography and culture during this four-hour excursion to the Pacoche Wildlife Refuge. After boarding your coach enjoy the change of scenery as you travel through semi-arid desert, dry and humid forests, and humid jungle. Upon arriving at Pacoche Wildlife Refuge follow your guide along a trail and, with some luck, observe howler monkeys, birds, flowers and ornamental plants. At the end of your walk, meet at the Pacoche Lodge for refreshments. Back on the trail, view a number of craft making specialties. Among the sights you'll see is a trapiche - a mill used to extract the juice of the sugar cane for processing into a cane-based alcohol. Then, witness a local artisan weave a genuine Panama hat and see how the ivory nut is used to make a variety of eco-friendly products. Finally, rejoin your coach for the trip back to your ship.
