Enjoy a taste of Mallorca with a half-day excursion that begins with a tour of the island's capital city. Then, a ride aboard the historic 100-year-old narrow gauge wooden train takes you to the village of Soller. Sit back and relax as the train chugs its way over steep gradients, around twist and turns, and through breathtaking scenery. Once you disembark in Soller you'll set off on a walking tour past San Bartolome Church, the town's prized landmark. Erected in the 15th century, the impressive church features Romanesque, Gothic and Baroque architecture. From here you'll walk on to Ca'n Det. Dating from the 16th century, the distillery is one of the three remaining oil presses of its kind in Mallorca. Watch each step of the olive oil-making process followed by a sampling of regional favorites. Once you've completed your epicurean journey you'll board a coach and return to your ship.
