Start with a tour of the interesting Bellver Castle set atop a towering promontory where it's easy to snap exceptional photographs of the unique circular tower, the pleasant garden and the panoramic views. And to round out your Palma experience, you'll get to visit the cathedral of Loa Seu, an imposing medieval structure with fascinating touches by contemporary architect Antoni Gaudi.
Enjoy some time at leisure in the city center with visit to a Pearls shop.
Special Notes:
On Sunday, the Cathedral of La Seu is closed, therefore the visit will be outside only. Instead, you will visit the Fundació Miró Mallorca (Miró Mallorca Foundation) which is a museum dedicated to the work of the artist Joan Miró. Created in 1981, it was dedicated to spreading knowledge of the work of artist Joan Miró as well as promoting contemporary art in general. It has significant holdings on the artist's work and also organizes temporary exhibitions and other cultural activities.Miró created the Foundation to encourage and promote artistic creation as well as to preserve his workshops, his creative space from 1956 to 1983. It contains paintings, drawings, sculpture and graphic arts, over a time frame that spans from 1908 to 1981
Guests must be able to walk approximately 2 miles over uneven cobblestones surfaces.
There is over 80 steps up to the Cathedral and 60 steps at Bellver Castle.
