Spend a day touring the majestic Granada Cathedral and Royal Chamber after a scenic drive through the picturesque countryside. Once you reach Granada, you'll head to the Old Quarter, site of these two impressive sacred landmarks. The cathedral's first stone was laid in 1523 but it would take 180 years until the cathedral would be completed. Its formidable exterior only hints to the grandeur you'll discover inside. The stunning interior features a beautiful gold and white finish and boasts a grand altar. But the most dramatic feature may be the 147-foot high dome that bathes the cathedral in a surreal light. After lunch you'll explore the Royal Chamber. Built in 1504, this impressive building houses a wealth of Baroque sculptures, tapestries, portraits, relics and the marble tombs of Queen Isabella and King Ferdinand. At the end of the day, you'll return to your ship.
