WHAT YOU VISIT
Santo da Serra Golf Club
Ranked among the world's finest courses, Santo da Serra Golf Club offers beautiful views of Machico Bay, where the Portuguese navigators first landed on Madeira Island.

Blandy Wine Lodge
Established in 1811, Blandy's is one of the oldest and most respected producers of Madeira. During your visit, you'll learn how the four different types of Madeira wine are vinified and sample two varieties. You'll also have an opportunity to purchase bottles of wine before returning back to your ship.

PHOTO OPPORTUNITY
From Funchal, you'll journey to Pico de Arieiro for photos; at 5,960 feet, it's the third highest peak on the island. Just when you thought your camera couldn't hold more photos, you'll stop at Camoes Pequeno, which offers views of Machico, a small resort town believed to be the site of the island's first settlers in the 15th century.

SNACK
In the village of Santo do Serra, you'll be served tea or coffee accompanied by a slice of traditional Madeira cake at the Santo da Serra Golf course.

WHAT YOU SEE ALONG THE WAY
From the pier, your coach will climb to the hilltop village of Monte and venture out past Terreiro da Luta, traveling a winding mountain road lined with eucalyptus and mimosa trees to Poiso Pass.
