Get a little exercise while seeing the sights on this half-day bike ride, a fun way to explore Pisa and all its highlights. A short bus ride will take you from the ship to the Livorno train station. After a quick ride on the local train, the fun begins when you meet your guide and receive your bike and helmet. After a brief route orientation, you're off! The town of Pisa is most famous for its Leaning Tower complex with the cathedral and baptistery, but there is much more to see. Pedal past such top sights as the Square of Miracles, Piazza dei Cavalieri, Palazzo della Carovana and the refreshing views from the lungarni, the streets that run alongside the Arno River that are lined with medieval and Renaissance architecture. At the completion of your ride, return to port via the same route. A courtesy stop will be made in downtown Livorno. You will then return to port independently.
