Experience the countryside of North Wales on this all-day tour. Your tour begins with a scenic drive to Llangollen, a small village in the Dee Valley famed for its International Eisteddfod, a festival of folk music, costumes, and dance. En route, you'll witness views of rugged mountains and the Vale of Clywd. In Llangollen, you'll browse the village shops and purchase lunch at your own expense, then board the Llangollen Railway for a scenic seven-mile ride along the banks of the River Dee to Carrog in a restored steam locomotive. You'll continue to Chirk Castle, a country home originally built as a Marcher stronghold by Edward I, and tour the interior and see the playful topiary before returning to Liverpool.
