This delicious, half-day excursion treats you to a traditional Cypriot lunch accompanied by wine and folk music, followed by some free time to discover the city of Limassol. Board your comfortable motorcoach for a "taverna" just outside the village of Tochni where you'll partake in a traditional mezze, a meal of three small plates. Cypriot cuisine is similar to Greek, featuring olives, fresh vegetables, humus, fresh bread, and seafood. Local wines will be served alongside the meal to complete the perfectly authentic experience, and a performance of traditional folk music will accompany the meal. You'll then have the opportunity to stroll through the streets of Limassol, Cyprus's second largest city, as it's anchored by a medieval castle built by the Byzantines around 1000 A.D.
