Board your motorcoach for a scenic drive past dead volcanoes, craters and canyons to Camel Station for the fun and exciting camel rides that takes visitors through the Park. You'll continue on to Timanfaya National Park. Covering over 12,600 acres, intriguing shapes of molten lava are littered atop the volcanic soil. Your next destination is La Geria for a wine tasting then off to the picturesque village of Haria for lunch. Next, you'll visit Mirador del Rio, Lanzarote's most famous viewpoint. Situated on Famara Cliff, the building stands 1,630 feet above sea level. Designed in 1973 by local artist César Manrique, the stone structure's semi-circular shape and large domed roof offer breathtaking views. Your final stop before returning to your ship is a tour of Los Jameos del Agua, part of a four-mile long volcanic tunnel that was formed by molten lava after the eruption of the La Corona volcano 3,000 years ago.
Special Notes:
Guests should note that the visit to Jameos del Agua requires negotiating some uneven stone steps at the entrance (uneven steps and uneven surface are in the whole Jameos). The steps may be slippery.Medical Restriction:
