You've seen the pictures. You've read about it, and on this excursion, you can get up close and make your own memories of the Leaning Tower of Pisa, as well as the other notable buildings that make up this UNESCO World Heritage Site. Departing from La Spezia, you will take a short 1-hour motorcoach ride to Pisa followed by a 15-minute journey to the Piazza dei Miracoli, or Square of Miracles. Your guide will fill you in on the history of the Tower, explain why it indeed leans, and educate you on the surrounding buildings, then you will have 60 minutes of free time to take your own photos, explore, shop and enjoy the architectural wonders of the area, including the famed Leaning Tower, the Duomo (Cathedral) and Baptistery on your own. Your memorable sightseeing day concludes with a walk back to your motorcoach for your scenic return to La Spezia and your ship. Transportation provided in a lift-equipped vehicle for wheelchair access.

The content of this tour is identical to QLP-200. Only guests using a wheelchair can book this tour, as it ensures accessible transportation. Due to the specialized nature of some lift-equipped vehicles, priority is given to guests using a wheelchair and one companion only; additional companions may be required to travel on the transportation provided for tour QLP-200. Bookings not marked with an accessibility requirement will be removed from the tour's inventory.If you wish to independently visit the Cathedral, the Baptistery or Campo Santo, an admission fee is required, so plan to carry Euros with you. Recently re-opened, admittance to the tower is limited and is not included in the excursion.
Photography is not permitted in the Cathedral.
Please be aware that ongoing restoration work is often being carried out at the various venues visited.
Tour groups are not allowed inside the Cathedral during mass services. Entry will be allowed on an individual basis to view the interior quietly and reverently.
