Board your motorcoach for a short drive to Posebyen, one of Kristiansand's oldest districts. After the Nazi invasion of 1940, the Germans constructed a massive shore battery near Kristiansand to protect the long strait connecting the North and Baltic Seas. Today the Kristiansand Cannon Museum is home to one of the world's last surviving Krupp 15-inch cannon. This massive artillery piece weighs over 330 tons.
