Charming Kristiansand is the fifth-largest city in Norway, but is small enough to be enjoyed on a leisurely and informative walk with your local guide. Your guide will point out the fortress built the 1670s and the Gothic-style cathedral from the late 1880s. Stop at the fish market and the marketplace next to the cathedral. In summertime is it packed with flowers and fresh farm produce. During a guided visit to the Kunstsilo Art Museum, you will find that the history of Kristiansand comes to life before your very eyes. After a short stop at the museum's gift shop you will walk back to the ship.
Special Notes:
Approximately 1½ miles of walking is required over mostly flat terrain with cobblestones and a few steps. An elevator is available at the museum. Please note Olaf Isaachsen paintings are no more available at Sørlandets Kunstmuseum.Medical Restriction:
