Coastal Waterways & Marine Widlife
Enjoy views of wildlife and scenery from the waters surrounding Kodiak cruising aboard the Shearwater catamaran - a stable vessel with a comfortable cabin and full walk-around decks. Wildlife often sighted from the Shearwater includes humpback and fin whales, Steller sea lions, sea otters, eagles, horned and tufted puffins and a vast array of other sea birds. Kodiak is home to one of the largest fishing fleets in the United States and boasts spectacular scenery that is best viewed up-close and from a waterside perspective.
SNACKS
Morning departures enjoy local, Kodiak-crafted pastries, hot coffee and juice. Afternoon departures enjoy a variety of snacks, water and soft drinks.
Special Notes:
Minimum age is 10 years and maximum weight is 350 lbs. Dress warmly in layers and wear comfortable, water-resistant shoes. Depending on weather and water conditions, the boat ride may be bumpy and is not recommended for guests with back problems. There is an elevated ramp to access the boat and depending on the tide, it may be steep.Unaccompanied Minor Policy: Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
