Lovely, Nida, the largest settlement in the Curonian Spit, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, awaits your discovery. Drive from the pier to the ferry for a quick crossing of the Curonian Peninsula. Then, drive through this picturesque narrow stretch of land known as the Curonian Spit, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Arrive in the main settlement of Nida, and begin a guided walk into its center to see the fishermen's cottages, weathervanes and flat-bottom boats and enjoy free time to buy souvenirs or purchase refreshments. Peruse the Kazimieras Mizgiris Amber Gallery and learn about the 'gold of the Baltic,' viewing impressive pieces of amber jewelry and exhibits of amber treasures. Continue by motorcoach to the 52-meter-high Great Dune, for picture-perfect views over the dunes to the town and, on clear days, across to the Russian territory of Kaliningrad. Stop in the heart of Klaipeda's Old Town to photograph Theatre Square. You'll receive a sachet of amber pieces as a gift at the conclusion of the tour.

While work road is being completed the tour duration may slightly vary by 30-40 minutes if delays occur. The sequence of stops listed in the itinerary may vary in order to prevent congestion. Tour time is fixed to the ferry schedule. After the tour guests may stay in the Klaipeda Old Town and later walk back to the ship. Complimentary maps will be provided. The distance from the Old Town to the ship is approx. 900 yards. Mizgiris Amber gallery is not accessible with the wheelchair.Details
