See the sights and get a little exercise on an exciting 3.75-hour cycling tour of Klaipeda. After a quick orientation, don your helmet and set off caravan style to the pedestrian ferry to cross the lagoon to the Curonian Spit, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Tool along the lagoon passing Klaipeda Yacht Club on the way. At the Hagen Dune, stop to photograph the panoramic views of Klaipeda. Continue on the forest trail and cycle to one of the most beautiful beaches in Klaipeda. Take a break by the sea and purchase refreshments (at your expense). Pedal on to the 19th-century Prussian military fort, now the Sea and Maritime Museum. Reach the narrow Klaipeda Sea Gate for views of the Baltic Sea. After your ferry ride, return and spend a little time biking the narrow streets of Old Town. Top off your day with photographs of Theater Square and browse the local crafts market. Return to port.
