As your flight takes off from the bustling Ketchikan harbor, panoramic views of Revillagigedo Island and the Tongass National Forest are revealed. After 20 minutes of spectacular scenery, you'll experience the thrill of a water landing at the remote Salmon Falls Resort. Learn of the lodge's colorful history and take in awe-inspiring views as you sip wine or Alaskan beer as the culinary team prepares your main course. Depending on your arrival time enjoy a breakfast or lunch menu, both highlighting the bounty of the sea and featuring salmon, crab and halibut. End your day with a scenic coastal drive back to the pier.
Special Notes:
Tour may operate in reverse order. Vegetarian options are available. Children under the age of 2 may travel as a lap child at no cost and will be included in the weight of the parent. Due to weight and balance limitations, as well as passenger safety and comfort, the airline has advised that guests weighing 250 lbs. or more (fully clothed) will be assessed a weight surcharge of $168. In any case where the necessity of the surcharge is verified, it will be paid directly to the tour operator just prior to the flight departure. Carry-on bags are not allowed and there is limited secure storage at the hangar. Aircraft fly no higher than 4,000 feet. Oxygen for personal use is allowed but must be in the form of an FAA approved portable oxygen concentrator that can be secured to the user's body. Occasionally weather may cause the flight portion of this tour to be canceled. In these instances a modified version of the tour will be offered at a reduced price.Flightseeing excursions are not refundable unless cancelled by 12:00pm on the day after embarkation.
Meal:
Breakfast: Fruit salad with grapes, watermelon, cantaloupe and mint; mini bagel, smoked salmon, cream cheese, dill and capers; Crab Benedict, salmon and halibut steak with country hash; mixed berry and yogurt parfait. Choice of Bloody Mary or mimosa, wine, beer, coffee, tea, soft drinks. (1 alcoholic beverage included with meal, additional beverages can be purchased)
Lunch: Salmon lox crostini with cream cheese, pickled red onion, scallions and dill; green salad, Dungeness crab cake with Cajun remoulade, honey-soy glazed salmon with cilantro-lime rice, baked halibut with lemon garlic butter, mixed berry cobbler with streusel topping, vanilla Crème Anglaise and Talkeetna Birch syrup. Complimentary soda, coffee, tea, and one included glass of beer or wine. (Additional glasses available for purchase.)
Unaccompanied Minor Policy: Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
