Join your small group and travel through beautiful farmland to Cape Willoughby Lighthouse, South Australia's oldest lighthouse, built in 1852 and Kangaroo Island's most easterly point which is thriving with wildlife.
Join a ranger guided tour of the light station precinct, museum and tower (102 steps) with amazing views of the backstairs passage. The isolation and ruggedness of this part of Kangaroo Island is striking as you learn about the maritime history of the Island and join a short coastal walk to see the Devils Kitchen.
From here you will travel the short distance to False Cape Winery, one of the leading wineries on the Island. False Cape vineyard is sustainable and completely off the grid with a unique cellar door. The vineyard covers 65 acres and has seven varietals made up of a great mix of reds and whites. Included in your tour is a wine tasting experience and a substantial lunch made up of deluxe platters and great homemade pies.
Afterward, relax on the drive back at Penneshaw.
