Board your air-conditioned motorcoach and drive along Kinko Bay with views of Sakurajima, the volcanic island in the harbor. The symbol of Kagoshima, Mt. Sakurajima rises over 1,000 feet above the waters of Kagoshima Bay.

First, you will visit Kirishima Shrine. The shrine and the surrounding Kirishima Mountains play a major role in Shinto mythology. It was here that the divine grandson of the Sun God Amaterasu came to Earth to rule over Japan, founding the imperial family. Surrounded by forest, the current shrine dates to 1715 and is designated an Important Cultural Property of Japan.

Next, travel to Kirishima Hotel for a hot-spring bath. Kirishima Hotel boasts one of the most unique spas in Japan. The public baths feature a large, extravagantly landscaped pool in a covered hall. Smaller pools surround the main bath, while a fountain sends a spray of water skyward.

After your soak, board your coach for the return to Kagoshima.

Special Notes:

Visit to Kirishima Shrine includes the uphill with some steps over bare and graveled ground. This tour is not recommended for passengers with walking difficulties or with wheelchairs.
Passenger need to bring your own bath towel. In case we visit Kirishima Hotel "Garden Big Hot Spring" is a gender mixed bathing facility.
Tatoo is not allowed for hot spring.
