Watch, catch and learn about the Alaska wild salmon on this exciting 3.5-hour adventure. No small boat or fear of seasickness, this is a family-friendly fishing experience suitable for children ages 6 and up. A vehicle transport brings you to a salmon hatchery, where you'll embark on a tour of the facility, watch salmon swim upstream in the man-made fish ladder and learn more about salmon lifecycle and their role in Alaska history and cuisine. Then, head to the shore (or dock) and grab a rod and reel. With a little instruction, you'll be casting like a pro, even if you are a beginner. Enjoy a two-hour fishing experience, take in the beautiful natural surroundings, chat with Alaskan locals and pose for photos with your fish – the ultimate souvenir. Arrangements can even be made to ship your catch home. The tour concludes back at your ship in downtown Juneau.
