Catch gold fever on this gold-panning adventure where gold is guaranteed! You'll walk in the footsteps of Joe Juneau whose strike at Gold Creek set off the Alaska gold rush 130 years ago. Your prospector guide will provide a short city tour and tall tales of the gold rush en route to Gold Creek, the original site of gold discovery. After expert demonstration on how to pan for gold, you'll be off to the gold fields to try and strike it rich. Not only will you get to keep what you find, but you'll also get a Gold Claim Certificate. Then, savor an all-you-can-eat Alaska salmon bake, including side dishes and dessert. Roast marshmallows over a campfire, enjoy musical entertainment and walk the trail to the waterfall and the remains of the historic Wagner Mine. This moderate, three-hour excursion provides a glimpse of Juneau with a tantalizing taste of the Alaskan lifestyle.

**Due to a temporary road closure for repairs, the gold panning portion will move from Gold Creek to the site of the old Wagner Mine for the beginnng of the season. Tour order may vary.Provided: Rain poncho, guaranteed gold
Meal: Wild Alaska salmon, barbecue ribs, au gratin potatoes, baked beans with reindeer sausage, rice pilaf, salads, corn bread, blueberry cake, hot apple cider, coffee, tea and lemonade. Beer, wine and soft drinks are available for purchase. Menu items are subject to change.
Unaccompanied Minor Policy: Children 12 and under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Children 13 to 17 must have a signed parental consent form to participate without a parent or guardian.
