Grab your bike for a day of fun just outside the capital city of Juneau. Your tour hosts will provide everything you need from helmet, street bike and water bottle to rain gear and gloves, if necessary. Be sure to bring your camera as photo opportunities abound. After a safety briefing, your guides will lead you on a 8-mile ride starting at Auke Lake incorporating dramatic vistas of Mendenhall Glacier from the quaint Chapel by the Lake. Winding your way through the University of Alaska Southeast campus for a western vista of the glacier, you'll stop for a rest on a beach. Gliding past the glacier's east side, you'll complete your ride at the visitor center and walk the trail for an even closer glacier perspective.
