Explore Istanbul by land and by sea, as you set off by motorcoach to the Byzantine Hippodrome for a photo opportunity, and a visit to the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia (outside views). The Straits of Bosphorus are next on your itinerary, as you board a motorboat for a panoramic cruise that promises to leave you breathless. Whether from the comfort of the interior saloon or on deck, you'll witness grand Ottoman palaces and castles, as you dine on a traditional Turkish lunch. Your tour continues with a drive to the Grand Bazaar, the largest market in the world, offering a carpet demonstration (time permitting) and shops filled with jewelry, carpets, leather ware, and copper goods. Minutes away, the Topkapi Palace Museum, a former palace of silk-clad Ottoman sultans, displays an extraordinary collection of art and the famed Topkapi Diamond, and breathtaking views of the Bosphorus, the Golden Horn and the Sea of Marmara.

Special Notes:
On Sundays, the covered section of the Grand Bazaar is closed. Shopping will be limited and take place in the area nearby the Grand Bazaar.Alcoholic beverages are available for purchase during your panoramic cruise on the Straits of Bosphorus.
Attire for visiting the mosque should cover shoulders and knees; shoes must be removed before entering; bring or wear socks. Shoe bags will be provided. In addition to covering shoulders and knees, all women must cover their head with a scarf. Professional photography and flash are not allowed. Please be aware of the ongoing restoration of the Blue Mosque.
On Friday calls; Blue Mosque visit will be substituted with a historical Ottoman Mosque.
Please be aware of the ongoing restoration of the Topkapi Palace; some exhibits may be closed or artifacts may be on temporary loan to other museums. Your guide will not accompany you into the Treasury Section of the palace.
The sequence of tour stops may vary; expect extreme dense traffic. Once in Old Istanbul, passengers will walk between the major sites.
