Continuing on, you'll travel past a number of glittering gems including two exquisite mosques-the Blue Mosque, renowned for its domes and minarets and an interior dotted with 20,000 delicate blue Iznik tiles in 33 shades; and Hagia Sophia. Built by Constantine the Great, it's one of the greatest surviving examples of Byzantine architecture, rich with mosaics and marble pillars and coverings.
