Get an up-close glimpse of some Scotland's rich history during a guided excursion that takes your through the Highlands. Your adventure begins as you board your motorcoach for the scenic ride traveling along the shores of Cromarty Firth, passing through the outskirts of Inverness en route to Cawdor Castle, one of the country's finest medieval structures. The castle is still the seat of the Earls of Cawdor, and the current home to the Dowager Countess Cawdor. However, many know this as the setting for Duncan's murder in Shakespeare's Macbeth. You'll get to tour the castle's spectacular gardens and stunning interior before continuing on to Culloden Moor for a photo stop, where British troops defeated Bonnie Prince Charlie and the Highland clans during the Jacobite rebellion of 1746. Your adventure concludes as you travel via Kessock Bridge and Black Isle as you return to your ship.
