WHAT YOU VISIT
- Nossa Senhora D'Ajuda Church
Sitting on a hilltop overlooking Ilhabela, the 200-year-old church was built atop a 16th century church. There are 35 steps leading up to the entrance, but once you step inside you are rewarded with artwork and statues depicting several saints, as well as a ceiling oil painting that is a replica of the one found in the former cathedral in São Paulo.

- Pedras Miudas
Located within Cabras Island's Marine Refuge, an inspiring underwater wildlife sanctuary to preserve the fragile marine community. The protected ecosystem includes a large variety of colorful corals, tropical fish, anemones and starfish.

- Veloso Beach
A local favorite for its small, intimate location, the beach is the site of the crumbling yet photogenic ruins of a chapel.

- Sino Beach
Surrounded by swaying palm trees, the picturesque beach is famous for its 'sound.' Listen carefully and you may hear the sound of church bells but it's really the water hitting the stones strewn on the beach.

Ilhabela's Cultural Ambassador, sculptor Gilmar Pinna, is renowned for his unique way of interpreting human and animal forms. His Multiplication of the Fishes is a photo worthy and intriguing piece of exceptional art.

WHAT YOU SEE ALONG THE WAY
The picturesque Agua Branca waterfall once provided power to the old turbines of a small hydroelectric that generated energy for the island.
