Soar over Norway's legendary North Cape on a 20-minute aerial adventure that showcases the unique beauty of Honningsvag and its highlights. A short motorcoach ride brings you from the pier to the helicopter base. Meet your pilot and settle into a comfortable four-seater helicopter. Have your camera at the ready for the spectacular, picture-postcard views. Before you know it, you are up and away looking down on the beautiful coastline and ocean below. See Honningsvag's historic cliffs and the famous globe monument, which symbolically marks the end point of Europe, although that actual point is Knivskjelodden, which you will see as well. Circle the beautiful village of Tunes and fly across Tufjord, where you will have the opportunity to observe the famous Gjesaerstappane - an island teeming with bird life. Your route takes you over Kjelvik before returning to Honningsvag airport.

Special Notes:

Actual flight time is approximately 20 minutes. This tour is dependent upon safe flying conditions and can be cancelled or rerouted at the pilot's discretion. Some days, the North Cape plateau is covered in fog, and for that reason there is a slight chance that you won't be able to see it. Helicopter sightseeing is subject to the weather and other environmental conditions; however, rerouting a flight does not mean that you will miss out on an exciting experience; quite the contrary - you will have the opportunity to view parts of the island that are rarely seen by tourists due to the lack of roads.

Please note that the maximum weight for each passenger must not exceed 120 kilograms (260 pounds). There will be a large step to board and, for safety reasons, guests cannot be carried on to the helicopter. If you are unable to board, no refund will be possible.
A four-seater helicopter will be used. The pilot will decide seating arrangements - please note that not all participants will be seated next to a window, although we are assured that everyone will enjoy a good view.
There will be a guided commentary during the flight, which will be in English. Depending on the ship's berth, there may be up to 150 meters (490 feet) to walk to the meeting point, but some flights are done from the local airport. There is an approximately five-minute drive from the meeting point. It should be noted that guests may have a wait, either before or after the flight, if transport to/from the airport is shared. Please dress according to the weather conditions of the day.

We prefer that the booking is subject to the North Cape plateau is not guaranteed. This is because the fog is difficult to anticipate before the day of your trip. The helicopter is also used for other assignments, and we fly it to Nordkapp on days we have bookings. With cancellations on the same day because of the fog, we risk to fly the helicopter to North Cape to no avail. Although it is nice flying weather on the rest of the island. In most cases we see the plateau, but it is difficult to guarantee.
