Have your cameras ready for the journey through magnificent Snowdonia National Park, home to jagged peaks, wind-carved gorges, lush valleys and crystalline lakes. Following a comfort stop at Llanberis village that overlooks Llyn Padarn Lake, you'll travel the incredible Llanberis pass that skirts the base of Snowdon; soaring 1,085 meters (3,560 feet) into the air, it's the highest mountain in England and Wales. A drive through the small mountain village of Capel Curig and along the scenic A5 Nant Ffrancon Pass brings you back to Holyhead.
