Herm Island Walk

After your tender ride from the ship, travel to the islet of Herm by ferry and take part in a guided walk to Manor Village. Following an uphill path past the shops and taverns, enjoy views across the fields and down to the pristine beach below. Continue on the exploratory walk to the center of the island where you will find the Manor Village. Explore Herm school and St. Tugual's Chapel with its stunning stained glass windows, providing views of calm and tranquil surroundings, and of Guernsey in the distance. Return to Harbor Village and enjoy free time to explore Herm's gift shops. The quaint and tiny Herm Post Office sells fascinating stamps which have become collector's items all over the world. Take the opportunity to sample local beer from one of the Channel Island breweries as you relax on the Islet of Herm.

Special Notes:

Participation is very limited; book early to avoid disappointment. This tour normally sells out in advance of the cruise.

This tour involves walking uphill over uneven and loose terrain. Passengers should be fit and able to complete 2-3 hours of continuous walking. Walking/Hiking boots and appropriate clothing is recommended.

Return to Guernsey by Ferry and take the opportunity to explore St. Peter Port at your leisure as you make the walk around the harbour to the tender embarkation point at Albert Pier., to return to the ship.

The duration of the tour may vary depending on the ferry's timetable.
