Guernsey West Coast Cycle Tour

Suitable for casual flat ground cyclists, and a favorite with families, you'll be joining an experienced guide for a bicycle tour of Guernsey (cycles and helmets supplied). From Perelle you'll pass through Catioroc, the internationally protected area of the Shingle banks, Lihou Island and the Colin Best Nature Reserve before reaching L'Eree Bay. Continue along the quiet seafront at Rocquaine with its views out to Les Hanois Lighthouse, until you reach Portelet (a refreshment stop at guest's expense). Then you'll work your way back through the 'Ruette Tranquilles.' On the way back to Perelle, you may stop to view the dolmen, a megalithic tomb, at Le Creux es Faies or maybe St. Appolines Chapel with its medieval mural.

Special Notes:

Participation is very limited; book early to avoid disappointment. This tour normally sells out in advance of the cruise.

The cycling distance on this tour is approximately six miles. Passengers ride at their own risk and should be in good physical condition. Due to traffic conditions in St. Peter Port, it is recommended that experienced cyclists should participate on this tour.

While the tour primarily travels the island's more level roads, there are hill climbs and descents. Dress appropriately and carry a backpack with some spare clothing in case of wet weather.
