Follow in the footsteps of Juliet Ashton, Elizabeth McKenna, Dawsey Adams and other characters from 'The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Society' during a three-hour Discovery Exclusive tour that combines fact and fiction of Guernsey's German occupation during World War II. After a photo stop in St. Peter Port you'll travel past the 800-year-old Castle Cornet. Then, sit back and relax as you drive through the bucolic countryside en route to the Jerbourg area to the cliffs where many of the islanders watched German bombers en route to London. Next, you'll continue on to another site from the book - the charming Little Chapel. Decorated with pebbles, shells and bits of broken china, the sacred 20th century creation measures just 16 feet by 9 feet and can only seat eight people. Enjoy free time to explore the chapel and savor refreshments before climbing back aboard the coach for a ride back to port.
