Your four hour adventure takes you to the mountainous northern side of Basse-Terre, where you'll meet your guide and engage in a glide through the crystal clear, turquoise waters of Grand Cul-de-Sac lagoon, for intimate views of the fragile ecology of the mangroves, where marine animals and exotic plants thrive. You'll explore Mango Islet, which houses different species of birds (herons, frigate birds), and the shallows, populated with large starfish, sea urchins and sea cucumbers. Finally, stop at La Biche Islet, one of the more beautiful islets of the lagoon and a refuge of expert fishermen for several generations.
