Begin your day with a visit to Parque Doramas, a beautifully landscaped park that features flowers, cacti and native Canarian plants such as palm trees that date back over a hundred years. Then, you'll travel to Teror and visit the Basilica. Outside, ten gargoyles stand guard while inside, the main features are the vast Baroque altar and the wooden carved figure of the Virgin Mary. Next up, it's lunch time in the village of Tejeda where you can view the famous Cross of Tejeda and enjoy a typical Canarian meal. After lunch, have a stroll at the botanical garden of the Duchess of Arucas. Established in 1880, the gardens are a romantic and serene setting for the 2,500 tropical plants that live in the five-acre park-like setting. Last, visit the Old Quarter of Las palmas, wiht a visit to Casa Museo de Colón. Devoted to the life of Columbus, the museum's collection includes a recreation of the interior of La Niña.

In case of private events scheduled at the Duchess of Arucas tropical gardens, you will visit the historical district of Arucas instead. Entrance to religious sites may be restricted by local health protocols. The drive involves winding roads that is not suitable for those who suffer from vertigo. This tour includes a notable amount of walking, on and off the bus frequently and Guests with mobility concerns are cautioned to carefully evaluate their personal level of stamina and ability.
