Pollok House
Step inside what was once one of the most prestigious private residences in Scotland and experience the grandeur and awe of the home referred to as the 'Scottish Downton Abbey.' The Maxwell family lived for six centuries on the site, but the main part of the present house was built in the mid-18th century, a prime example of Georgian grandeur. Pollok House is home to one of the finest collections of Spanish art in the United Kingdom, including paintings by El Greco and Blake. The downstairs area is home to the impressive servants' quarters.

It's just a short drive to this stately home, nestled in scenic Pollok Country Park, just on the outskirts of Glasgow.
Dinner:
Amidst atmospheric surroundings, sit down to a traditional three-course Scottish dinner held in the old servants' quarters and the Edwardian kitchen. A glass of wine or beer is included with dinner. There is a cash bar if you wish to purchase additional beverages. Bring local currency, as the vendor does not accept credit cards or US dollars.
