Enjoy a leisurely tour to some of Gibraltar's must-see sights during this 2.5 hour excursion that begins aboard a mini-coach and ends with a walking tour of Casemates Square, Gibraltar's main street, as well as the 18th-century fortress known as King's Bastion. First, you'll follow the fortress walls passing by Camp Bay. Here, you'll have perfect views of Parson's Lodge, a fortification built by the British in 1842. From here, you'll journey to Europa Point to photograph the beautiful lighthouse that dominates the landscape. Sharing the grounds is the Shrine of Our Lady of Europe and Ibrahim-al-Ibrahim Mosque, Europe's most southerly mosque. Then, it's on to Casemates Square where your guide will explain its historical importance during the Moorish, Spanish and British periods. From here you will walk through the various streets of Gibraltar before you arrive at the King's Bastion. Once there you will have a 30-minute walking tour past the old guns, uniforms and other exhibits from the era. Finally, you'll have the option of returning to the ship, or shopping in the City Center, which is just a two-minute walk away.
