Travel to Portofino, the most beautiful and famous resort on the Ligurian Coast and a haunt for the rich and famous since the 1950's. Board your motorcoach for a drive to Santa Margherita to meet your cruising vessel. Set off along the beautiful Paradise Coast to Portofino Bay. Upon docking in Portofino, sightsee independently. Stroll through the streets and see the colorful houses built in a semi-circle around the Piazzetta. The church of Saint Martin stands proudly in the town center and from here a promontory brings you to the castle of St. George then on to the magnificent gardens and views of Castillo Brown. If you are looking for a more energetic hike, visit Portofino National Park, where there are 31 miles of beautiful hiking trails. Be sure to indulge in an authentic gelato as you browse the legendary shopping district. Return to port via scenic cruise and motorcoach.

Please note, free time may be modified to adhere to local regulations and guidelines for COVID 19 protocols.Dress appropriately; jacket, casual wear, sun hat and comfortable walking shoes are recommended. If planning on visiting the church's interior, ladies must cover knees and shoulders, while men's attire must include long trousers or jeans - strictly no shorts.
Portofino's shops open Monday to Sunday 10:00 am to 8:00 pm.
Euros and/or credit cards are recommended for shopping. Euros are recommended for purchasing snacks and refreshments.
Tour operation is dependent upon sea and weather conditions. In the event of rough sea, local buses will be substituted for the journey to Portofino as motorlaunches will not operate from Santa Margherita to Portofino. If weather permits, then motorlaunch will be used from Genoa to Portofino (1.5 hour transfer).Use of an audio headset (included) will enhance your tour experience.
