A narrated panoramic drive along the winding roads of the northern coast of Italy brings you to Rapallo, a resort-like village punctuated by striking landmarks, such as its picturesque marina and historic castle. Enjoy free time to explore on your own, shop for souvenirs and take in the local color. Rejoin the motorcoach and proceed to Sestri Levante, a peaceful fishing village overlooking the Baia del Silenzio, (the Bay of Silence) and the Baia delle Favole (the Bay of Fables) named for the writer Hans Christian Andersen, who lived in here in 1833.
Enjoy some Local wine accompanied by authentic 'focaccia' bread before returning to the ship.
