The name Cinque Terre refers to five dramatically situated villages that cling to the Ligurian cliffs. Travel along this spectacular area beginning with a scenic drive en route to Manarola, possibly the oldest town in the Cinque Terre. Arrive in Manarola where you will enjoy some free time and then board the boat to Monterosso,. The medieval Aurora Tower stands proudly in the center of the village and you can browse the many shops and enjoy a traditional Italian lunch on your own.Enjoy a pesto-tasting in one of the local cafè and free time. At the completion of your day, you will take the train to Levanto where your motorcoach takes you back to Genoa and the ship.
Special Notes:
On voyage 8506 Majestic Princess, March 9th 2025, the boat used for this tour will be exclusive to Princess tour guests.In case of poor sea conditions, this will operate by bus and train. Passengers will go to Manarola by bus and then proceed by train to Monterosso. The Cinque Terre is a popular destination; expect crowding in the villages. You will likely encounter a long line while waiting to board the boat; boarding is strictly on a first-come, first-served basis.
Please be aware that the tour involves a steep slope at Manarola and flights of stairs in the other villages.
Wear appropriate shoes for cobblestones and trails.
Use of an audio headset (included) will enhance your tour experience. Euros are required for purchasing lunch and refreshments.

In the Fall, boat services along Cinque Terre stop operating at the beginning of November. Therefore, in November and December, this tour will operate by bus and train, and not by boat.
