Geiranger, one of Norway's top resort areas, is a tiny village with big scenic rewards. A three-hour, motorcoach ride with thrilling twists and turns is a wonderful way to take in all the spectacular panoramic vistas with photo stops along the way. Your motorcoach will climb winding mountain roads, offering an ever-changing kaleidoscope of mountain farms, waterfalls, lakes and streams. From sparkling Lake Djupvatn (Deep Lake), you'll travel all the way up to the summit of Mount Dalsnibba, which offers a spectacular view of Geirangerfjord, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. From the 5,000-foot summit, drive back down the same road, stopping at the Flydal viewpoint. Continue to the north side of the fjord to drive up Eagle Road, famed for its 11 hairpin bends carved into the mountainside, to the Eagle Bend for views of the Seven Sisters Waterfalls. Return to Geiranger via the same exciting and sight-filled route.
