Board your motorcoach for a scenic drive to the port of Leith where the former Royal Yacht Britannia is moored. Begin at the Visitor's Center, where you'll receive information and a self-guided audio tour that narrates the adventure on board. Hear thrilling stories and tidbits about the life of the British Royal Family as you walk through the vessel. Before leaving the center, be sure to take a look at the gallery of photographs tracing the yacht's history, which adorn the walls.

From the moment you climb the special pier side staircase and climb on board, you'll feel like royalty. The Britannia, a spectacular seagoing palace in commission until 1997, has been the host to some of the most influential people in the world.

Explore the ship's spectacular furnishings and finishes, which were designed to the Queen's personal taste. Each room is filled with family photographs and treasured mementos from around the globe. You'll view such areas as the Queen's stateroom, the drawing room, the formal dining room, the bridge, the admiral's suite, the officers' wardroom and the crew quarters. You'll even get a glimpse of the engine room. Step out on the open deck and take in the breathtaking views - a perfect photo opportunity.

At the completion of your tour of this historic ship, re-board the motorcoach for a scenic drive to Edinburgh. Alive with culture and history, the capital of Scotland is a thriving UNESCO World Heritage Site. As you tour the streets, marvel at the juxtaposition of medieval architecture and contemporary buildings. The lively culture and classic beauty of this city is on display around every corner.

Your knowledgeable guide takes you through the New Town where elegant Georgian buildings and contemporary design delight. Here you'll find Princes Street, Edinburgh's main shopping district, bustling with activity.

In the Old Town, enjoy a plethora of historic sites and monuments. A drive down Royal Mile, Edinburgh's oldest and most historical street reveals one ancient monument after the next. See the Parliament Building, Canongate, Lawnmarket and the magnificent statues of King Charles II and Sir Walter Scott. Following this world-famous route takes you from the regal Holyrood Palace, the official residence of Her Majesty the Queen while in Scotland, all the way to Edinburgh Castle.
