Welcome to Dubrovnik, "Pearl of the Adriatic." This guided walking tour brings you the rich history and culture of this spectacular port city. After a short motorcoach ride you'll arrive at the Old Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You'll start at Pile Gate, the 15th-century rampart that has long been the traditional entrance to the city. From there, your guide will show you the stunning Franciscan Monastery and Old Pharmacy, the world's oldest working pharmacy. Nearby is the Rector's Palace, offering a glimpse of Dubrovnik's glorious past. A short walk further brings you to the Cathedral and its glittering treasury filled with gold and silver artifacts, including relics of St. Blaise. After an hour of free time, you'll return to your motorcoach for a scenic ride to Cavtat, the Dalmatian Coast resort village, for lunch and some exploration before returning to your ship.
