See the Sponza Palace with its elegant courtyard and elaborate stone carvings, the Dominican church and monastery, and the church of St. Blaise. Walk along the city's wide marble pedestrian walkway, the Stradun (Placa). It has been the town's central thoroughfare since the 11th century.
