Spend the day exploring one of Australia's most unique treasures-Litchfield National Park. This Discovery Recommended Tour offers an incredible array of scenic delights courtesy of Mother Nature: incredible architectural works of art constructed by millions of termites, spectacular waterfalls, striking sandstone pillars and more! Sit back and relax as your air conditioned coach journeys through the Top End and ascends the rocky Tabletop Range where dry woodlands and forests dominate the huge sandstone plateau. Have your camera ready when you enter the park and stop at the Termite Mounds, where armies of termites have created hundreds of tombstone-like mounds standing over six feet tall. Photos taken, you'll have lunch at the Litchfield Café. Refreshed, you'll rejoin your coach and continue on to Wangi Falls, the park's most popular attraction. This photogenic site descends from an elevation of 276 feet into a large, pool surrounded by lush monsoonal rain forest.
