Curacao's island splendor takes on a new and personal meaning when you explore its history and natural gifts. One of the stops is at the Chobolobo Estate, where the island's famed Blue Curacao liqueur is produced, and tour the distillery. You will have an opportunity to sample the liqueur and purchase a souvenir bottle to take home. Continue your drive through the eastern part of the island and visit an aloe Vera farm, learning about healthy aloe products. A group of local artists, artisans, craftsmen and historians have joined forces to form the Nos Kos (Our Thing) initiative. Admire the work and feel free to purchase a memento if you wish. Conclude with a drive through the city center of Willemstad on a panoramic sightseeing tour. Glimpse St. Anna Bay, pass the 19th-century Rif Fort and the Queen Emma floating pontoon bridge, and cross over Queen Juliana Bridge for magical views of the capital's candy-colored buildings. Return to port after this tasty and scenic day.
