Be sure to read the Special Notes further down this page for important requirements and restriction.
Designed with families in mind, this tour begins in the heart of Chania, Crete's prettiest (and second largest) town, with colorful old Venetian buildings ringing a sheltered harbor guarded by sturdy fortifications. Upon arrival, you'll disembark in Old Town. Untouched by modern-day trappings, the winding, twisting streets are dotted with many of Chania's oldest architectural gems. Admire Neoclassical mansions and Venetian fortifications that reveal the city's rich history before embarking on your kayak adventure. Once you meet your guide, you'll receive safety instructions and your gear. Then you'll take your seat inside the two-person sea kayak and push off. As you paddle through the glistening Aegean Sea to the charming Marathi resort area, you'll witness Kastelli Hill, which rises above the Venetian harbor, pleasure and fishing boats and houses tucked along the shore. After arriving in Marathi, enjoy some time for swimming before you are treated to a well-deserved lunch. Refreshed, you'll paddle back to Chania.
